Funeral services were at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2019, at Colonial Funeral Home for Willie Nell Smith, 83, of Foxworth, who died on Friday, Jan. 4. Burial followed in Mt. Sinai Church of God Cemetery. Rev. Earl Turnage officiated at the services. Visitation was held from 9 a.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday, Jan. 8 at Colonial Funeral Home.
A native of Marion County, she was a retired seamstress from J.H. Rutter Rex MFG Company and a member of West Columbia Church of God. She was a wonderful Christian lady and loved the Lord with a passion. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Alton Smith; mother, Elma Morgan; father, Hardy R. Ratliff; step-father, Cozzie Morgan, and sister, Sherry Ann Williamson.
Survivors include a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Pallbearers were Ryan Williamson, George E. Smith, Stephen “Snuffy” Smith, Bradley Smith, Konnor Ford, Scotty Smith, Johnny Bryant and Jeremy Parker.
