Alicia Stewart Dunaway, 63, of Columbia, died on Sunday, June 11, in Columbia. She moved from Hattiesburg to Columbia where she resided for 15 years. She was a graduate of Oak Grove High School. She was employed in many office positions. She was an accomplished musician, poet and artist. She was a devout Christian where she served at the 38th Ave. Baptist Church of Hattiesburg, First Baptist Church of Columbia and Kokomo Methodist Church of Marion County. She was a sweet natured person who loved to give gifts to others. Her friends and family will miss her very much.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Stewart. Survivors include her son, William Charles Dunaway; sister, Melanie Singley (Phil); brother, David Stewart (Louise) of Ellisville; aunt, Celeste Hinds of Magnolia; Texas and numerous cousins.
