Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 29, 2024, at Woodlawn Church for Ann Williamson, 88, of Columbia who passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 24. Burial followed in Woodlawn Cemetery. Pastor Jerron Carney, Rev. Stephen Binion and Rev. Darrin Powell officiated at the services. Pastor Justin Conway provided special music. Visitation was held from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 28, at Woodlawn Church.
She was a loving mother and grandmother. Her children and grandchildren have countless memories of wonderful times spent with “Granny.” She spent most of her life in Marion County and has been a faithful member of Woodlawn Church. Throughout the community, she was known for her kind and gentle spirit.
She was preceded in death by her father, Duel Terry; mother, Rosalie Price Terry; two sons, Terry Michael Williamson and Rocky Williamson; two brothers, Larue Terry and Gayle Terry; one sister, Alice Nell; and one Grandson, Landon Williamson.
Survivors include her three children, Robin Hurst (Gene), Randi Sloan (Jeff) and Rusty Williamson (Renee); one brother, Danny Terry; two sisters, Kay Jackson (Horace) and Pam Carney; nine grandchildren, Lori King (Brent), Carla Stephens (Dan), Michael Bullock (Michelle), Lela Cox (Jamie), Chris Bullock (Tamera), Amelia McCoy, Daniel Sloan (Sahara), Colby Willamson and Zach Davis; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Michael Bullock, Chris Bullock, Daniel Sloan, Colby Williamson, Zach Davis and Cody King. Honorary pallbearers were her great-grandsons, Ethan Bullock, Ryan Bullock, Evan Bullock, Conner Cox, Chayse Cox and Cort Stephens.
