Beverly Diane Stringer

With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Beverly Diane Stringer, 71, of Columbia, who departed this life peacefully on Friday, April 18, 2025, just one day after celebrating her 71st birthday. A celebration of life memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 3, at Shiloh Baptist Church.

Born on April 17, 1954, she lived a life marked by enduring love for her family. She was a woman of strength and compassion.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mack T. and Helen Bracey; and daughter, Ginger Moree Norris Swilley.
She leaves behind a rich legacy through her family which include her sons, Mack Brian Moree (Susie), Michael Dewayne Moree (Mary) and Jonathon Stringer; son-in-law, Ben Swilley; sisters, Lynnette Morris and Sheila Sullivan; and grandchildren, Jeremy Moree, Joah Moree, Blake Norris, Jaela Moree, Joshua Stringer, Crystal Chambliss (David), Makayla McCraw and Perry “P.J.” A. Barrett Jr. She was also a proud great- grandmother to Jamie, Abigail, Jacob and Raelynn.
She was the heart of a large extended family, including numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends, all of whom will miss her deeply. Her kindness, humor and unwavering faith left a lasting imprint on everyone who knew her.
All who knew and loved Beverly are invited to attend and share in honoring her memory. Though she is no longer with us, she will always be remembered for the grace and love that radiated from her life.
