Carolyn Ann Robinett
81, Purvis
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 11, 2024, at Hathorn Funeral Home for Carolyn Ann Robinett, 81, of Purvis, who passed away on Friday, Nov. 8. Burial followed in Foxworth Cemetery. Rev. Rex Wiseman officiated at the services. Visitation was held from 10 a.m. until the time of the services on Monday, Nov. 11, at Hathorn Funeral Home.

She was every bit a tour de force. She was a pistol, never afraid to speak her mind and always very protective over her kids. She enjoyed working in her yard, sipping coffee on the front porch, taking care of her dog, Tibby, and being a devoted LSU Tiger football fan. Many good times were spent at the race track, where you could find her supporting family or drag racing herself. Family meant everything to her, and she devoted 35 years of marriage to the love her life, Roy Sr. She will be deeply missed and everyone that knew her looks forward to meeting her again at her front porch in the sky.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Roy G. Robinett Sr.; and parents, Carlton McCoy and Sarah G. McCoy.
Survivors include her five children; Roy G. Robinett Jr. (Eileen), Randy Robinett (Jerry), Sarah Bond, Marvis Akins (David) and Tammy Walters (Greg); twin sister, Carmen McCoy; 12 grandchildren, Dustin Robinett (Hannah), Emileigh Williams (Mike), Gabe Robinett (Karissa), Skye Sheffield, Jessie Robinett, Matthew Robinett, Ashley Novak, Sean Novak, Cassy Sistrunk (L.T.), Dr. Santana Holloway, Tre Myers (Vanessa) and Devin Myers; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Roy Robinett, Randy Robinett, Dustin Robinett, Gabe Robinett, Greg Walters and Carlton Loftin.
