Chevelle “Chevy”
Willow Koepke
6, Columbia
A private memorial service was held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 7, 2025, at Hathorn Funeral Home for Chevelle “Chevy” Willow Koepke, 6, of Columbia, who passed away on Friday, Jan. 31, in New Orleans, La.

Six-year-old Chevy, a vibrant spirit who painted the world in shades of pink, left an imprint on every heart she touched. Her love for exploring led her on countless adventures, from searching for the perfect fishing spot to hiking through sun-dappled woods. Animals flocked to her gentle nature, and her pet lizard, Lucy, was her constant companion. Her bright personality could illuminate any room, her laughter echoing with the joy she found in simple things – Barbie dolls, makeup and hair play, the thrill of a buggy ride or the wind in her hair as she rode her dirt bike. Though her time with us was far too short, the memories of her infectious smile and the love she shared will forever bloom in our hearts.
Survivors include her father, Steven Koepke; mother, Juhlia Glover Koepke; two sisters, Mia Green and Jacklynn Coache; grandparents, Donna and Gary Huddleston; great-grandmother, Patricia Gaswint, and a host of aunts, uncles and a world of friends.
