Danny Lynn Montgomery, 66, of the Improve community in Columbia passed away on Nov. 1, 2023, after a 5-year battle with early onset Alzheimer's. His ashes were scattered behind his home amongst his favorite place to be, Beaver Dam Creek.
He worked in engineering all of his life. He was a member of Improve Church. He loved spending time with his wife, children, granddaughter and his beloved pets.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hillman and Beulah Mae Robbins Montgomery; and grandparents, Clarence Hillman Montgomery, Bertie Mae Montgomery, Harry Robbins and Savanah Robbins.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Brenda Broom Montgomery; daughter, Elizabeth Ann Montgomery (Matt Simmons) of Columbia; son, Adam Montgomery of Columbia; brother, Brian Montgomery (Brenda Greer Montgomery) of Texas; and his precious granddaughter, Anna-Rose Marie Simmons, who was the joy of his life.
He is greatly missed by his family and pets.
