He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Jack Ham and Ellen Ham; father, Donald Ham; and sister, Jessica Ham Platt.
Survivors include his mother, Geneva H. Simmons; sister, Lara “Cookie” Johnson; brother, Remy Simmons; son, Jacob Ham (Leigh) of Columbia; and grandsons, Riley Ham and Samuel Ham.
