Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 30, 2025, at Woodlawn Church for Glenn Doyle Beach Sr., 86, of Columbia, who passed away on Thursday, March 27, in Columbia. Burial followed in Woodlawn Cemetery. Pastor Jerron Carney and Rev. Stephen Binion officiated at the services. Visitation was held from 2 p.m. until the time of the services on Sunday, March 30, at Woodlawn Church.

He lived a life filled with music, laughter and unwavering faith. A devoted family man, his heart resonated with the strings of his guitar, a passion he cultivated for an incredible 77 years. He found solace and adventure outdoors, pursuing his love for hunting. His deep love for music was only surpassed by his love for Jesus, a guiding force in his life. A true "people person," he effortlessly connected with everyone he met, his infectious sense of humor and playful pranks leaving lasting smiles. As "The Voice of Marion County" and "Mr. DJ USA," his voice and personality reached far and wide, touching countless lives with his warmth and charm.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Karen Beach Phillips; father, Hamilton T. Beach; and mother, Irma Wilkerson Beach.
Survivors include his wife, Ann Marie Coward Beach of Columbia; son, Doyle Beach Jr.; two daughters, Lisa Beach Scarengos and Lynn Beach Smith; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister, Wanda Beach Broome; and a host of nephews, nieces and friends.
Pallbearers were Jamie Broome, Curtis Broome, Lon Ward, Van Dawsey, Todd Rayborn and Parrish Smith. Honorary pallbearer was Patrick Smith.
