Funeral services were held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26, 2024, at Antioch Baptist Church in Foxworth for Larry Dennis Bean Sr., 78, of Foxworth, who passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 23, at his residence. Burial followed in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery in Foxworth. Rev. Willie Martin and Rev. Cory Odom officiated at the services. Danny Price, Joe Bracey, Joshua Bean and J. B. Griffith provided special music. Visitation was held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the services on Saturday, Oct. 26, at Antioch Baptist Church.
He was a man who loved the Lord and his family greatly. As a member of the Tylertown Country Club, he was an avid golfer and enjoyed the outdoors. He will be truly missed by all that knew him.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Chandler Bean; mother, Edna Mae Martin Bean; and sister, Barbara Lowe.
Survivors include his two sons, John Bean (Sandy); Larry Dennis Bean Jr.; daughter, Audrey Courtney (Kevin); ex-wife, Ann Bean; seven grandchildren, Cory Sumrall (Heather), Joshua Bean, Heather Penton (Zane), Hannah Williamson (Johnathan), Brian Courtney, Jared Courtney and Justin Bean (Rosie); two brothers, Martin Bean (Judy) and Ronnie Bean (Jennie); two sisters, Linda Price and Bonnie Bean; five great grandchildren, Broxyn Sumrall, Aubrey Williamson, Avery Williamson, Brady Penton and Leia Bean.
Pallbearers were Justin Bean, Cory Sumrall, Zane Penton, Dale Bracey, Evan Bean and Gerald Rowley. Honorary pallbearer was Joshua Bean.
