Funeral services were held at noon on Friday, Jan. 19, 2024, at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church for Laterica Sydney McLendon, 42, of Prentiss, who died on Saturday, Jan. 13, in Prentiss. Burial followed in Resthaven Cemetery. Rev. Johnny Porter officiated at the services.
Visitation was held from 10 a.m. until the time of the services on Friday, Jan. 19, at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church.
Born on Tuesday, Jan. 5, 1982, she was the daughter of Jonathan McLendon and Mildred Rucker.
