Memorial services were held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 12, 2023, at Colonial Funeral Home for Marco Padilla, 66, of Columbia, who died on Tuesday, July 25.
He was born in New Orleans, La., and graduated from West Marion High School. He was a longtime resident of Columbia and a career residential painter by trade. He was non-denominational in his faith.
He was preceded in death by his father, Barney Pittman Sr., and mother, Francibel Cerrato Wood.
His memory will be forever cherished by his wife, Kathie Padilla of Columbia; daughter, Bianca Williams (Shawn) of Sandy Hook; sisters, Mary Turnage (Walter) of Foxworth, Teresa Terrell (Tommy) of Columbia, and Isabel Nelson (Lindsey) of Brandon; brother, Barney Pittman Jr. of Dayton, Ohio; three grandchildren, Natalie White, Easton Williams and Eden Williams; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
