Beta Club allows students to be recognized and showcase important leadership skills.
Our school started a chapter of the Junior Beta Club in 2020 for charter membership.
To officially be able to call yourself a member, you have to be inducted. The induction is a signal of welcoming new members organized by Mrs. Danielle Whittington, Mrs. Courtney Holland, and Ms. Ashley Grantham.
In order to be considered for Beta, you have to have an 85 average or above in all subjects, along with no write ups, bus referrals, or visits to the office.
The National Beta Club helps with other organizations like animal shelters, food drives, and home and hospice.
They are always looking for ways to help our students and even members of the community.
Beta Club was started because Mrs. Danielle Whittington was in it when she was younger, and she saw a need for kids to lead at our school. Being a member can also help students in the future to receive a scholarship and have opportunities for leadership positions.
I'm glad we have Beta Club because I love serving our school and community.
