Columbia, Mississippi —Get ready to savor the flavors and groove to the music at the highly anticipated Columbia Food and Music Festival, returning to Downtown Columbia on Saturday, September 7, 2024. This year marks the festival's third installment, promising an even bigger celebration of food, music, and community spirit.
Attendees can expect an enhanced experience this year with three stages featuring live music starting at 10:00 a.m. and continuing until 8:00 p.m. Throughout the day, the streets will be bustling with a diverse array of food trucks, offering everything from savory delights to sweet treats. For the first time, festival-goers can indulge in a "Taste of the Festival" experience, where they can sample and vote for their favorite food truck.
"MCDP is pleased to collaborate with Main Street Columbia and the City of Columbia on this festival for the third consecutive year," said Lori Watts, President of Marion County Development Partnership. "The Columbia Food and Music Festival is becoming a staple of our community, showcasing the best of local and regional food trucks alongside fantastic musical performances."
Jenn Thornhill, Event Coordinator for the festival, added, "This year, we are focused on offering a varied culinary experience complemented by a mixed music lineup including gospel, blues, alternative, country, and rock & roll."
