West Marion Primary classes competed to collect as many cans as possible during the month of November to donate to Hope Collective Community. 1,248 canned food items were donated, and 153 of those were donated from Rebekah Martin's class. Since her class collected the most cans in the school, Martin and her student teacher, Katie Sauls, were the 2023 WMP Turkeys for the day.
