Heal the Land Unity Service will be holding its annual service on Sunday, Nov. 3 in downtown Columbia.
The service is open for all area churches to participate as everyone comes together as one. In fact, all churches are expected to be a part of the festivities, according to Chairwoman Corene Russell.
The Heal the Land Ministry is a way for everyone to join together as one regardless of race, denomination or social status, Russell said. It is her hope that churches all across the county will join in this event and make this year’s the best to date.
A planning meeting will be held at 6 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 16 at the Columbia Marion County Public Library. All churches are invited to send a representative.
