Carzella Expose Lowe

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 11, 2017, in Cook Galloway Funeral Home Chapel for Carzella Expose Lowe, 87, of Sumrall, who died on Tuesday, Dec. 5, in Columbia. Burial followed in Rose Hill Church Cemetery. The Rev. Johnny Porter officiated at the services. Visitation was held from 10 a.m. until noon on Monday, Dec. 11, in Cook Galloway Funeral Home Chapel.
A native of Sumrall, she was one of 13 children. She was a member of Rose Hill Church. She was active in her church and community. She was employed in 1971 by Marion County school district and retired from East Marion in 1999.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 64 years, the late Rev. Sammie L. Lowe; one son, Robert Carroll Lowe, and parents, Noah Henry and Etta Mae Expose.
Survivors include her sister, Bevelyn C. Expose; 11 children, Larry Lenard (Rose) of Seneca, S.C., Gregory Sr. of Sumrall, Michael Lee (Gary) of Bassfield, Charles Clifford of Hattiesburg, Terry Scott (Faye) of Sumrall, Sammie Lee Jr. of Sumrall, Lynda Maxine (Elvin Jackson Sr.) of Hattiesburg, Beverly Joyce (Raymond Powell) of Sumrall, MaeLang Lowe of Hattiesburg, Leontyne (Anthony White) of Poplarville and Edna Elaine (Ron White) of Killeen, Texas; 37 grandchildren, over 30 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, five sisters-in-law and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
