A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 27, 2018, at Bunkerhill Baptist Church for Dan Mack Daughdrill, 73, of Carson, who died on Wednesday, Jan. 17, at his residence. It was his wish to be cremated and his ashes interred at Greens Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
Throughout his life, he worked in the offshore oil industry, logging industry and most recently onshore drilling site preparation.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Kirby Daughdrill and Lena Lorraine Lewis Daughdrill; wife, Ernestine "Teny" Dyess Daughdrill and brothers, Kirby Daughdrill Jr. of Norway and Shelby Joe Daughdrill of Brookhaven.
Survivors include his son, Gregory Daughdrill of Memphis, Tenn.; daughter, Lisa Farmer (Farron) of Carson; one sister, Ann Farmer (Robert Earl) of Lafayette, La.; four brothers, Leon Daughdrill (Barbara Jean) and Roger Dale Daughdrill (Debbie), both of Oakvale, Johnnie Daughdrill (Barbara) of Lafayette, La. and Chester Daughdrill (Dixie) of New Hebron; sisters-in-law, Kay Daughdrill of Brookhaven and Kirsten Daughdrill of Norway; grandson, Matthew Farmer of Carson and a host of nieces and nephews.
