Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 13, 2018, at Hathorn Funeral Home in Columbia for Diane McKenzie, 69, of Foxworth, who passed away Sunday, March 11, 2018, at the Hattiesburg Health & Rehab. Interment will be at Foxworth Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday, March 12 at Hathorn Funeral Home.
As a long-time resident of Marion County, Diane devoted her life to being a caretaker. She was a nurse’s aide. She also had a love for music and animals.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Odis & Irene McCain; one sister, Bonnie McCain; and one brother, David McCain.
She is survived by her daughter, Terry Lee (Ryda) of Foxworth; two sisters, Elaine Pounds of Foxworth and Donis Pittman of Columbia; one brother, Jim McCain of Foxworth; two grandchildren, Joseph Anthony Powell of Foxworth and Kerri Leigh Powell (Brooke) of Kokomo; and three great-grandchildren, Remy Powell, Talin Powell and Jaxon Powell, all of Columbia.
