Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2017, at Landmark Baptist Church for Mr. James H. Brewer, 67, of Columbia, who died on Nov. 5, in Stone County. Burial followed in Landmark Cemetery. The Reverend Bob Burge officiated at the services. Visitation was held from 10 a.m. until the time of the services on Wednesday, Nov. 8, at Landmark Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, James Eddie Brewer.
Survivors include his son, Darrin Brewer of Carson; daughter, Sherri Brewer of Carson; former wife, Sharon Dyess Brewer of Carson; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Bill Brewer (Doris) of Gautier; three sisters, Faye Lea (Allen) of Brandon, Sue Plunk (Lloyd) of Jackson and Johnnie Brewer of Bunker Hill.
Pallbearers were Shawn Dyess, Ted Dyess, Darrell Dyess, Dale Dyess, Daryl Brewer, Michael Dyess and Wade Brewer.
