Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 6, 2017, at Faithway Missionary Baptist Church for Juanita Polk Broome, 87, of Bassfield, who died on Monday, Oct. 2, at her residence. Interment followed in Faithway Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Brent Robbins, Bro. Lavon Haden, Bro. Brad O’Neal, Bro. Charles “Chuck” Lee, Bro. Clyde Cooper and Bro. Everette Broome officiated at the services. Visitation was held from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 5, at Hathorn Funeral Home and from 10 a.m. until the time of the services on Friday, Oct. 6, at Faithway Missionary Baptist Church.
Hathorn Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
