Juanita Stogner, 75, Cisco, Texas
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 19, 2019, in the Colonial Funeral Home Chapel for Juanita Stogner, 75, formerly of Columbia and resident of Cisco, Texas, who died on Thursday, Aug. 15 in Abilene, Texas. Burial followed in Foxworth Cemetery. Dr. Daniel Smith and Rev. O.H. Austin officiated at the services. Visitation was held from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 18 at Colonial Funeral Home.
Born in Covington County and longtime resident of Columbia, she was a seamstress by trade and a member of the Church of God denomination. She was a strong woman of faith and instilled those values in her family. She will be sorely missed by her family and friends both in Mississippi and Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Hollis Stogner and Fulton Mobley; parents, William Alton and Beulah Graves, and brothers, Roy Graves and Ronnie Graves.
Survivors include her two daughters, Sandra O’Quin (Larry) of Foxworth and Sythia O’Quin (Ronnie) of Cisco, Texas; son, Stephen Stogner (Wanda) of Cisco; sister, Ruby Corley of Collins; five grandchildren, Stephen Stogner (Emilie), Johnathon O’Quin, Ric Stogner (Aeriole), Eric O’Quin (Ashley) and Nathan O’Quin; three great-grandchildren, Conner Stogner, Barrett Joe Stogner and Matthew O’Quin; three foster great-grandchildren, Jordan, Jacob and Jessie, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Pallbearers were Davis Blansett Jr., Tyler Pittman, Ric Stogner, Elvis Smith, Nick Johnson and Greg Saulters.
