Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 30, 2017, at Colonial Funeral Home for Letha Haddox, 106, of Columbia, who died on Tuesday, Dec. 26, in Columbia. Burial followed in Woodlawn Cemetery. Dr. Darrin Webb and Dr. Nathan Barber officiated at the services. Visitation was held from 9 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday, Dec. 30, at Colonial Funeral Home.
A native of Jefferson County, she was a seamstress with Reliance Company and a member of New Union Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Vester Haddox; parents, Jeff and Marandia Robbins Prine; sons-in-law, Bob Morgan and Horace English, and all of her siblings.
Survivors include her three daughters, Jewel Morgan of Powder Springs, Ga., Mary “Tiny” Rutland (Cliff) of Bassfield and Moree English of Columbia; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Joseph Newell, Matt Doss, Tucker English, Warren English, Ryan English, and Lee Pittman.
