Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2018, at Colonial Funeral Home for Ruth Bradley, 81, of Columbia, who died on Sunday, Dec. 31, in Columbia with her daughter by her side. Burial followed in Enon Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Elder Doug Barber and the Rev. Darel Daniels officiated at the services. Visitation was held from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 1, at Colonial Funeral Home.
She was born in Hazelhurst on Nov. 8, 1936, to Robert and Bertie Ford. She was an avid gardener, homemaker, wife, mother and a devoted Christian. She was a member of Enon Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, C.J. Sanders; two brothers and a sister.
Survivors include her husband, Clarence Bradley; daughter, Judy Smith; two sons, Randy Sanders and Jeff Sanders; two sisters; nine grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
