Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2017, in Colonial Funeral Home Chapel for Sue Renee’ Harper, 65, of the Improve Community, who died on Saturday, Sept. 9, in Improve. Interment followed in the Improve Cemetery. Pastor Darrell Daniels officiated at the services. Visitation was held from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 11, at Colonial Funeral Home.
A native of Marion County, she was a homemaker and a member of Improve Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Houston and Vera Mae Williams, and brother, Glyn Williams.
Survivors include her husband, Harold Harper; two daughters, Alicia Herrington and Allison Spiers; son, Kevin Neal Jr., and nine grandchildren, Drake Spiers, Aireyana Spiers, Damon Spiers, Michael Neal, Gabriel Spears, Wade Spiers, Auriel Thornhill, Olivia Dickerson and Owen Dickerson.
