The Columbia 9u all-stars will remain close to home this weekend as they begin their summer schedule.
Since there are not enough 9u teams in the district, Columbia will be playing in a 10u sub-district tournament at Duckworth Park as it prepares for the state tournament at St. Martin beginning July 13.
The all-star team will play Hattiesburg 9u Friday night at 7:30 to kick things off before a pair of games on Saturday. It will play Duckworth 10u at 3 Saturday afternoon before a nighttime showdown with Sumrall 10u at 6.
Columbia 9u includes Will Breland, Trent Buckley, Greyson Carney, Chayse Cox, Reed Duncan, Christian Expose, JP Haddox, Corban Lawrence, Zac McCain, Carter McMichael and Carson Stuart and coaches Jamie Cox (head), Jeffrey Haddox and Paul Lawrence.
