Former Columbia Academy superstar outfielder Slade Wilks, who now plays for the Golden Eagles at USM, began the season in a slump before erupting Sunday in a 14-1 win over North Alabama. The slugger finished a homer away from the cycle with a 3-for-3 performance with 4 RBI and two runs scored.
