On March 26 at William Carey University in Hattiesburg, the student center building was named in honor of a Columbia couple, Tommy and Sandra King. Tommy King is currently the president, and both he and his wife are alumni of the university.
Tommy King said Thursday that they had no idea that was going to happen.
