Despite the last minute changing of hands, the annual Christmas Parade will still take place on Friday, Dec. 4 at 7 p.m. The parade is normally sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Columbia, but the club decided Tuesday afternoon that with the recent increase in COVID-19 cases, it was best to not sponsor it this year.
