Engineering students earn National Certification

Marion County Career and Technology Engineering II students, from left, Aaron Thomas and Zane Ortega earned their certifications as a Certified SolidWorks Associate (CSWA) this spring. The CSWA certification indicates a foundational, apprentice-level knowledge of 3D CAD design, as well as engineering practices and principles.

Town Club holds last meeting of the year

The Town Club met May 5 for its last meeting of the year. The theme of the meeting was Cinco de Mayo and the installation of new officers. The members came dressed in Mexican attire and sombreros. A delicious Mexican meal was served prior to the installation of new Town Club officers.
