Revised precincts could save $250K

According to a presentation that Marion County Circuit Clerk Janette Nolan delivered to the Board of Supervisors on Tuesday, modifying some of the precinct locations within the county could save a projected $250,000 over the next 10 years.

The City of Columbia Recycling Center, located on Old Foxworth Road, is currently open two times each week to accept certain recyclable materials, including grades one and two plastic, aluminum and tin cans, cardboard and paper.
