Buckley selected as Pitcher of the Year

The running for the Jones Ready Mix Pitcher of the Year award was also highly contested. Columbia Academy’s Logan Buckley, fresh off of a return-to-form season as the Cougars’ ace, won in the competitive category. Logan Buckley threw 62 2/3 innings and struck out 119 batters, both of which led Marion County.

Albritton nabs Offensive Player of the Year

The Columbia Credit Offensive Player of the Year award featured a narrow winner, with West Marion’s Braxton Albritton claiming the honor. The Trojans’ catcher hit .394 in 2025, driving in 30 runs. He hit 12 doubles and a triple, and he stole seven bases for the Class 3A South State runners-up.

Aikens awarded Offensive Player of the Year

Making an impact in her final prep season by winning the Columbia Credit Offensive Player of the Year award is East Marion’s Adrinae Aikens. The 2025 catcher hit .545, driving in 52 runs and scoring 31 runs. She hit nine home runs and 10 doubles, stealing nine bases to be the Lady Eagles’ most effective offensive player.
