Lady Trojans tame Cobras in second round

West Marion faced a difficult end of the season last year after being eliminated by Wesson in the third round of the 2024 playoffs, but history didn’t repeat itself a year later. In a pair of competitive games, the Lady Trojans swept the Cobras to move on to the third round of the 2025 Class 3A playoffs.

Cougars weather the storm vs. Copiah Academy

Conditions were on the south side of crystal clear for Columbia Academy last week in the opening round of the MAIS playoffs against Copiah Academy. Rain delays pushed back Game 1 multiple times, including two days, with the Cougars either en route or already arrived in Gallman by the time a decision was made.
