Throughout Columbia Academy’s time at the 5A level, it’s been a gauntlet on the basketball court. The Cougars struggled at times against teams consistently bigger and more athletic than them, leading to some early exits. Still, the Cougars were a frequent fixture in the playoffs, including last week in the Class 5A South State Tournament.
