Over the past decade, there were several hard days for the employees of Pioneer Aerospace. The company closed, changed hands and was renamed, then closed again after filing for bankruptcy. The skilled workforce that led Pioneer was one of the beacons of Marion County’s marketplace for decades, then it was all gone.
