Reeves appoints Belk as chairman of State Parole Board

JACKSON, Miss. (AP) — Mississippi Gov. Tate Reeves on Tuesday announced the appointment of Jeffery Belk as chairman of the State Parole Board.

Belk, of Vancleave, Mississippi, took over the role Jan. 1. He replaces Steven Pickett, who retired on Dec. 31.
