The east side of Columbia, which includes a large portion of the recently annexed area, will be getting major upgrades to its water and sewage infrastructure in 2025. The City of Columbia will receive $4 million as part of the Water Resources Development Act, and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will oversee the extensive project.
