The Town Club held its regular monthly meeting on Oct. 2, 2023 with 21 members present. Hostesses for the night were Gail Knight, Louise Brown, Scarlett Gafford and Lisa Sims. Toni Cook, Vice President, called the meeting to order and conducted a brief business meeting.
Toni was also in charge of the program, “Reading With The Town Club,” and presented a book review on “Cradle in the Oak” by Candace Cox Wheeler, a Biloxi native. The review sparked lively discussion as club members around the tables shared their favorite authors and book titles. The program was informative and challenging as members promoted their book selections.
Town Club members enjoyed a delicious meal and spent the rest of the evening visiting.
