Columbia, MS — Village of Grace, a care-centered nonprofit serving elders and veterans in Marion County, hosted its inaugural gala in November, bringing together community leaders, families and supporters for an evening of celebration, remembrance, and Southern hospitality.
Held at The Klassy Venue in Columbia the gala featured a DJ, locally sourced cuisine, and a visual showcase of Village of Grace’s mission through honoring our local VFW Post 5393 and Auxiliary and SMPDD reflecting values such as dignity, legacy, healing and community. Guests arrived in formal attire, with couples and families capturing joyful moments beneath twinkling lights and branded backdrops.
“This gala was more than a fundraiser—it was a reflection of the heart of Marion County,” said Ce Cole Dillon, interim President Village of Grace. “We gathered not just to celebrate, but to affirm our shared commitment to care that honors the past and builds a legacy for the future.”
Proceeds from the event will support Village of Grace’s ongoing efforts to provide culturally affirming, legacy-driven care for rural elders and veterans, including facility upgrades, staff wellness initiatives and community education programs.
