Camille Rainer Breland and Gregory Williams Rome were united in marriage at Rayne United Methodist Church in New Orleans at 7 p.m. on Friday, March 16, 2018. The Rev. Jay Hogewood officiated.
Camille is the daughter of Quin and Camille Breland of Columbia. Greg is the son of Claude Rome and Sharon Williams of Chalmette, La. Grandparents of the bride are Bobby and Camille Leatherman of Robinsonville and Hillman and Jo Beth Breland, deceased. Grandparents of the groom are Claude and Daisy Rome, Patrick Williams and Clyde and Marie Messa, deceased.
Camille was given in marriage to Greg by her father. Vaughan Leatherman Stewart, first cousin of the bride, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Kate Taylor Battle of Chicago, Martha Claire Breland, sister-in-law of the bride, of New Orleans, Laura Collins Dennis of New Orleans, Emily Blount Noland of New Orleans and Lindsey Brown Rahn of Minneapolis.
Patrick Joseph Fecke of Newport, Ky., served as best man. Groomsmen were Quinby Hillman Breland IV, brother of the bride, of New Orleans, Luke Anthony Dantin of New Orleans, Andrew Gregorian of New Orleans, Joshua Matthew Siemann of Chalmette and Brandon Kyle Thibodeaux of New Orleans.
McCadden Campbell Breland and Marjorie Claire Breland, nieces of the bride, served as flower girls.
The bride's longtime friends, John Rankin Webb of Nevada and Ashley Fast Bailey of Arkansas, were scripture readers.
Ushers were cousins of the bride, Benjamin Fortune Leatherman, Robertson Morrow Leatherman III, Jonathan Steven Murphy and Joe Michael Stewart, all of Memphis, Tenn.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Pavilion of Two Sisters at City Park in New Orleans. Beautiful flowers adorned the church and reception and were designed by David Naron of Oxford Floral in Oxford. David is the husband of Katie Yarborough Naron of Columbia.
After honeymooning in France, Greg and Camille returned to Chalmette where Greg is an attorney and Camille is an advertising executive at Bond Moroch in New Orleans.
