Ephrum and Gina Hodges of Silver Creek announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Shelby Susanne Hodges of Silver Creek to Mark Jason Carithers of Brookhaven, son of Albert and the late Jeanette Carithers of Ruth.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of James Ray and Cynthia Cliburn and Steve and Linda Hodges, all of Silver Creek. She is a graduate of Abeka Academy and a graduate of Antonelli College with a degree in Medical Assisting/Phlebotomy. She is a member of The Springs Church. She is employed with Southern Grace Boutique.
The future groom is the grandson of Hugh and Viola Carithers of Bogue Chitto and James and Pauline Holly of Ruth. He is a graduate of Enterprise Attendance Center. He is a member of The Springs Church. He is the owner of Marked Tattoos.
The couple will exchange wedding vows at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 5, 2020, at Life Church. A reception will follow at Life Church.
