Mr. and Mrs. Porter Wilks of Columbia announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Anna Leslie Wilks of Columbia to John Miles McNeese of Columbia, son of Mr. and Mrs. John McNeese of Columbia.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Austin Wilks and Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Robertson, all of Columbia and the late Aaron Bennett. She is a 2015 graduate of Columbia Academy and a 2018 graduate of Pearl River Community College with a degree in Surgical Technology. She is a member of Bunker Hill Baptist Church. She is employed with Hattiesburg Oral Surgery.
The future groom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Tommy McNeese of Columbia and Mr. and Mrs. David Earl Johnson of Poplarville. He is a 2015 graduate of Columbia Academy and a 2019 graduate of Mississippi State with a degree in Forest Management. He is a member of Bunker Hill Baptist Church. He is employed with Diversified Forestree Management, LLC.
The couple will exchange wedding vows at 6 p.m. on Nov. 7, 2020, at Bunker Hill Baptist Church. A reception will follow at Four Orchards, the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Timon Buckley.
