The Rev. Dr. Ronnie and Mrs. Mariam Mackabee of Brookhaven are pleased to announce the upcoming marriage of their daughter, Kelley Percinia Mackabee, to Joseph Blake Bridges, son of Ms. Topeneka Bridges and the late Mr. Joseph Foxworth of Columbia.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Percy and Winnie Bell Hall Jr. and Mrs. Inez and the late Mr. William Isaac Mackabee of Brookhaven. She was an honor graduate of Brookhaven High School and a graduate of Mississippi State University where she received a bachelor’s degree in economics. She currently works at First Guaranty Bank in Hammond, La.
The future groom is the grandson of Mrs. Estella and the late Mr. Marvin Bridges of Columbia. He was an honor graduate of West Marion High School and a graduate of Alcorn State University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in agriculture economics. He currently works for the USDA in Natchez.
The couple will exchange vows on Saturday, Sept. 22, 2018, at four o’clock in the evening at Hub Community Baptist Church of Columbia. Dr. Ronnie Mackabee will be the officiating minister. A reception will follow at the Mississippi State Extension Center in Hattiesburg. n
