Rosemary O’Quin of Columbia and Kollin Napier, Petal native, announce their engagement.
Miss O’Quin is the daughter of Kenny O’Quin and Peanie Breakfield of Columbia and the granddaughter of Wilford and Dr. Lorice Broome of Columbia. She is a 2012 graduate of Columbia High School and a 2016 graduate of Delta State University. She recently completed her master’s degree in education and is a seventh grade English teacher at Jefferson Middle School within the Columbia School District.
Mr. Napier is the son of Ramon and Wenda Napier of Petal and the grandson of Dorice Geiger of Hattiesburg. He is a 2011 graduate of Petal High School and a 2016 graduate of Mississippi State University. He recently completed his master’s degree this past December in computer science and is currently pursuing his PhD in the field of computer science and engineering. His also employed through Mississippi State University within the Extension department.
The two plan to reside in Starkville where she will teach fifth grade English and he will continue with his doctoral studies at Mississippi State University.
The wedding will be at 2 p.m. on June 10 at the Bottling Company in downtown Hattiesburg.
