Mr. and Mrs. Jeffrey Williamson of Columbia would like to announce the engagement of their daughter, Katie Lynn, to Jacob Howard Broom, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jeffrey Broom of Hattiesburg.
The bride is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Williamson and the late Mr. and Mrs. Woodrow Raynes, all of Columbia. She is a graduate of William Carey University School of Nursing and is employed by Southern Surgery and Urology.
The future groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Vines of Hattiesburg and the late Mr. and Mrs. Howard Broom of Columbia. He is a graduate of Pearl River Community College and is employed by Chevron.
The couple will exchange vows at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 30, 2018, at Improve Baptist Church.
