Seventh Grade Maid
Miss Katya Elizabeth Blanco
Katya is the daughter of Maria Margarita Blanco and Hector Favian Blanco. She is the granddaughter of Maria Valentina Zelaya and Jose Felix Zelaya and Josefina Torres Frias and Alfredo Blanco Castaneda.
Katya resides in the New Hope community. She attends The Vine Church where she is an active member of The Vine Youth and The Vine Praise Team.
Katya has been a student at West Marion since kindergarten. She is a member of the junior high volleyball team. She also attends the Fellowship of Christian Athletes meetings.
Katya enjoys spending time with her family and best friends. She also enjoys singing, practicing volleyball and softball, going to church and doing Bible study with her friends.
Upon graduation, Katya plans to attend Pearl River Community College for two years to obtain her associate’s degree in nursing before attending the University of Southern Mississippi where she will major in nursing
Eighth Grade Maid
Miss Maycee Klair McKenzie
Maycee is the daughter of Jason and Christi McKenzie. She is the granddaughter of Doylton and Mary McKenzie and Doug and Jacqueline Boeresma and the late Tim Campbell.
Maycee resides in the Sandy Hook community and attends Hurricane Creek Baptist Church where she is an active member of the youth group.
Maycee has been a student at West Marion for six years. She is a member of the West Marion varsity softball team and junior high volleyball team. Maycee also attends Fellowship of Christian Athletes meetings.
Maycee enjoys spending time with family and friends and going on vacation. She also enjoys playing travel softball, shopping, listening to music and going to the river.
Upon graduation, Maycee plans to attend Pearl River Community College where she will complete two years of prerequisites before attending the University of Mississippi where she plans to obtain a master’s degree in athletic training.
Freshman Maid
Miss Chantelle Louise Smith
Chantelle is the daughter of Ashley and Timothy Bullock. She is the granddaughter of Brenda Davis and Cliff Pitts and Mary Henderson and A.J. Bullock.
Chantelle has been a student at West Marion since second grade. She played West Marion basketball from fifth to eighth grade where she was the captain of the junior high basketball team.
Chantelle enjoys spending time with her family and best friends. She also enjoys shopping, playing basketball, doing makeup and babysitting in her free time.
Upon graduation, Chantelle plans to attend Pearl River Community College where she will earn her cosmetic license or major in the medical field.
Sophomore Maid
Miss Iyana Gabrielle Willis
Iyana Willis is the daughter of Walter and Sharity Willis. She is the granddaughter of Grayford and Bridgette Thomas and the late Handy Willis and Zeila Willis.
Iyana resides in the Little Rock community and has attended Little Rock Missionary Baptist church.
Iyana has attended West Marion since kindergarten. She has been a part of the West Marion Trojans cheerleading team for three years.
Iyana enjoys shopping and hanging out with her loved ones.
Upon graduation, Iyana plans to attend the University of Southern Mississippi where she will complete four years to earn her degree in psychology.
Junior Maid
Miss Breanna Lei Conerly
Breanna is the daughter of Ivan and Chanel Conerly. She is the granddaughter of Eddie and Lenola Conerly and Johnny and Brenda Kellen.
Breanna resides in the Kokomo community and attends New Damascus Church where she is an active member of the youth group and Mass choir.
Breanna has been a student at West Marion since kindergarten. She is a member of the Student Council, prom committee and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Breanna is an officer of Future Business Leaders of America. She is also a member of the West Marion varsity cheer team and a member of West Marion’s show choir, New Era.
Breanna enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoys creating dances, traveling and going to church with her best friends.
Upon graduation, Breanna plans to attend Pearl River Community College where she will complete two years of prerequisites before attending the University of Southern Mississippi where she will enroll in dental hygiene school.
Senior Maid
Miss Lillian Michelle Pigott
Lillian is the daughter of Eugene Pigott and Lisa Michelle Kennedy. She is the granddaughter of the late B.J. and Lena Mae Pigott.
Lillian resides in the Sandy Hook community and attends First Mount Bethel Missionary Baptist Church where she is an active member of the youth choir and praise team.
Lillian has been a student at West Marion since kindergarten. She has been a member of Mu Alpha Theta and is a member of the West Marion varsity volleyball team where she has played for four years.
Lillian enjoys spending time with her family and best friends. She also enjoys kayaking, traveling, doing hair and shopping.
Upon graduation, Lillian plans to attend Jones College, where she will complete two years of cosmetology school.
Football Maid
Miss Khallada De’Mya Varnado
Khallada is the daughter of Vickie and Clarence Varnado. She is the granddaughter of Joy Varnado and the late Clarence Varnado, Sr., and the late Auther Mae Lee and Jeffery Virgil.
Khallada resides in the Foxworth community and attends Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church. She is an active member of the choir and praise dance team.
Khallada has been a student at West Marion since kindergarten. She is a member of HOSA-Future Health Professionals where she serves as secretary and was the first to represent them as a health science brand ambassador. Khallada is also a member of Future Business Leaders of America, National Technical Honor Society, National Society of High School Scholars and Crown Club of Columbia. She attended the Pearl River Valley Youth Leadership Program in 2022. Khallada has been a part of the West Marion High School color guard for four years and currently serves as captain. She has also been a part of the archery team for two years.
Khallada enjoys helping with junior high concessions and being the statistician for the girls basketball teams. In her spare time, she enjoys dressing up, shopping, doing hair, painting, spending time with her siblings and her yearly trips to Memphis, Tenn. as a cancer survivor.
Upon graduation, Khallada plans to attend Pearl River Community College and major in radiologic technology.
Maid of Honor
Miss DeAndrea Auroniesha Dexter
DeAndrea is the daughter of Norma and the late Alranzo Dexter. She is the granddaughter of Sandra and Willie Johnson and Clima Dean and the late Luther Ard.
DeAndrea resides in the Sandy Hook community and attends Springhill Missionary Baptist Church where she is the president of the youth choir and a member of the usher board.
DeAndrea has been a student at West Marion since kindergarten. She is the president of Student Council and an officer of Beta Club. DeAndrea is also a member of National Honor Society, National Society of High School Scholars, Mu Alpha Theta and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes Leadership Team. DeAndrea is a captain of the West Marion varsity girls basketball team and has played for six years. She is also a member of Crown Club of Columbia.
DeAndrea enjoys spending time with her family and friends, laughing and making jokes. She also enjoys going shopping, riding four-wheelers, fishing and traveling.
Upon graduation, DeAndrea plans to attend Jones College, where she will complete two years of elementary education before attending Alcorn State University where she will major in elementary education or physical therapy.

Miss Daleigh Ann Crozier
Daleigh is the daughter of Kevin and April Crozier. She is the granddaughter of Nelson and Denise Crozier, Vivian and Collette Ishee, Pud and Lucy Stringer and the late Peggy Stringer.
Daleigh resides in the New Hope community and attends New Hope Baptist Church where she is an active member of the youth group and the choir.
Daleigh has been a student at West Marion since kindergarten. She is the president of National Honor Society and Beta Club and is captain of the varsity cheer squad. She is also a member of Mu Alpha Theta, Student Council, Crown Club of Columbia, Mississippi Baptist All State Youth Choir and has been on the Superintendent’s List since Kindergarten.
Daleigh enjoys spending time with her family and best friends. She also enjoys reading, singing, eating ice cream and attending youth Bible studies.
Upon graduation, Daleigh plans to attend the University of Southern Mississippi where she will obtain a degree in nursing and then pursue a graduate degree as a nurse anesthesia technician.
