Sophomore Maid:
Miss Layla Haiden Harvey
Layla is the daughter of Kristie and Jeremy Watson. She is the granddaughter of Bo and Velma Williams, Edward and Pat Watson, and the late Andy Lowery and the late Jeff Harvey.
Layla lives in the New Hope Community and attends Morgantown Church of God. She is a member of the BETA Club and the student council. She is an honor student with many scholastic achievements. Layla is a varsity cheerleader and has been on the squad for four years, serving as captain her eighth grade year. Layla has been on the Lady Trojans softball team for four years and the volleyball team for three years. Layla enjoys spending time with family and her best friends. She also enjoys shopping and going on vacations.
Upon graduation, Layla plans to attend the University of Southern Mississippi to pursue a degree in nursing with the goal of furthering her education to become a nurse anesthetist.
Layla is being escorted by Brynan Ma’Kade Slocum. He is the son of Lydell and Hope Slocum. He is the grandson of Phillip and Dianne Slocum and Judy Dunn and the late Timmy Bates.
