West Marion High School students explored the world of Information Technology at their Career Coach Exploration Event. Jeff McCoy, instructor of computer networking & cybersecurity at Pearl River Community College, and Ben Whatley, owner of Red Rover IT, alongside Southern Mississippi Planning & Development District career coach Mary Beth Buchanan, informed students of valuable insights into IT careers, programs, salaries and internships. These events not only equip students with knowledge but also provide opportunities for Q&A sessions and networking with industry professionals, empowering them toward a successful future.
