MSU vets visit city shelter

Danielle Barber recently reached out to Mississippi State University's veterinary school for advice and was told that they could actually make a trip down to Columbia. The staff at the Columbia Animal Shelter scheduled the trip and gave the MSU visitors the tour of the facility.

The numbers speak for themselves in CPD report

The Columbia Police Department released its 2022 strategic plan Tuesday along with its vision for 2023.
The theme of the report is "we are." It presents the CPD as caring, transparent, trustworthy and compassionate and invested in the youth of the city, engaged in the community and fighting crime.

Police recover stolen vehicle, make arrests
