The Quilts of Valor Foundation and QOV group, Foxworth Sew & Sews, awarded Capt. Perry Martin with a Quilt of Valor on July 8, 2023 surrounded by family and friends.
Martin entered the Army in August 1969 and arrived in Vietnam in August 1971. He was assigned to the 101st Airborne Division.
While serving in Vietnam, he was a platoon leader and later the Battalion S-3 Air. He was granted an honorable discharge on Nov. 1, 1976 from the Army and began working with the FBI on Nov. 6, 1976.
Capt. Perry Martin is surrounded by friends and family July 8 while receiving a Quilt of Valor.

The Foxworth Sew & Sews QOV group started in October 2022 and is one of the 600 Quilt of Valor Foundation member groups that create quilts and award them to veterans touched by war. Its mission is to honor our service members and veterans who have been touched by war with Quilts of Valor.
